Registered Nurse - Priority Health Group, Emerald QLD

Priority Health Group is recruiting for a Registered Nurse on a full-time basis. Previous general practice experience is an advantage but not necessary. We are an expanding practice looking for a dedicated RN to capitalize on an existing patient base. Our practice is currently open Monday to Friday 7am to 17:30pm, Saturdays 8:00am to 1:00pm and Sundays 10:00am to 1:00pm

We are a high-end General Practice based in Emerald, QLD with a strong focus on quality patient centered care. We operate a high nursing staff to doctor ratio to ensure we maintain attention to detail and deliver exceptional care.

Priority Health Group comprises of 3 procedure rooms, 5 consulting rooms, a nursing bay, reception and waiting room. We undertake skin checks using advanced digital dermoscopy and remove skin cancers using simple closures to advanced skin grafts and flap procedures. We also offer non-surgical skin cancer treatments such as, day light and conventional PDT therapy. We have expanded our skin services to include Cosmetic Clinic.

Essential duties include but not limited to:

· Triage

· Chronic Disease Management/Care Plans and Health Assessments

· Wound Care Management

· Cold chain and Vaccine Management

· Ear syringing

· Maintaining Recall and Reminder system

· Diagnostic procedures i.e ECG’s & Spirometry

· Assisting in Procedures & Pap Smears

· Stock control of medical supplies

Qualifications and Experience:

· Current AHPRA registration

· Registered Nurse Qualification

· CPR Certificate desirable

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

· Willing to assist in administration tasks

· At least 12 months experience

· Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident

· Fluent English

Desirable:

Ability to start soon as soon as possible.

Experience using Best Practice software (Training can be provided)

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: $60,000.00 – $85,000.00 per year

Education:

• Bachelor Degree (Preferred)

Experience:

• Registered nurse: 1 year (Preferred)

Licence/Certification:

• AHPRA registration (Preferred)
• CPR Certification (Preferred)
• Driver Licence (Preferred)
