Art Director, Retail

Responsibilities:

+ Work closely with Creative + Development teams to create
renderings and artwork for high-caliber retail programs.

+ Conceptualize designs with understanding of each client's
tastes, needs, and market trends, maintaining consistency
throughout the entire project

+ Create tech-packs, set up die lines, and render accessory and
packaging concepts

+ Ability to execute design tasks quickly and efficiently

+ Display high-level of accuracy and attention for details in
artwork delivery

+ Ability to relentlessly collaborate while also working
independently on several different projects at once

+Exercise judgment in prioritizingand maintaining multiple
projects to meet project deadlines

+ Highly organized in maintaining production files, ensuring all
files and elements are easy to locate for multiple team members

+ Ability toillustrate and design in multiple styles to ensure
the product is always evolving

Requirements:

+ Must be able to work full-time out of twelveNYC's Dumbo HQ

+ Must have 6+ years of working experience

+ Must be fluent in Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, as
proven in portfolio.

+ Strong understanding of brand guidelines + consistency with
the ability to solve complex problems through effective design

+ Strong background in illustration is a bonus.

+Proficient experience in Photoshop renderings, mockups, and use
of the Pantone color system

+ A knowledge of materials, finishes, and print techniques is a
bonus

+ Creative thinker who is able to handle critique, listen to
direction, and multiple changes to art

+ Demonstrate excellent creativity, oral and written
communication, listening, and technical design skills

+Must be flexible, open-minded, and respond well to quickly
changing priorities as necessary

+ Detail obsessed, solutions-based, and time management savvy

+ A pulse on the latest market trends with a passion for all
things beauty, fashion, and retail

+Ability to work after-hours + on different time zones when
necessary

+ Inspired by product design and interest to tell stories
through tangible products
