Human Resources Manager – AAAK Projects

Location: Lansdowne, NSW 2163

Employment Type: Full-Time

Salary: AUD $100,000 - $115,000 per annum

Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager to lead and manage the HR function across all divisions of AAAK Projects. This is a strategic and hands-on role responsible for overseeing recruitment, compliance, industrial relations, workforce planning, and organisational development. The successful candidate will partner closely with project and site managers to build a positive workplace culture aligned with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement HR strategies, policies, and procedures to support business growth and compliance
  2. Manage full employee lifecycle including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and exit processes
  3. Provide expert advice on employment law, Fair Work compliance, and award interpretation
  4. Lead employee engagement initiatives and support workforce planning across project sites
  5. Coordinate training and development programs to upskill staff and support safety goals
  6. Maintain HR records and ensure data integrity across HR systems
  7. Oversee workplace investigations, grievance resolution, and performance issues
  8. Prepare HR reports for management and support audits as needed

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field
  2. Minimum 5 years of HR experience with at least 2 years in a managerial role
  3. Strong working knowledge of Australian employment legislation and workplace laws
  4. Proven experience managing HR in construction or similar field-based industries
  5. Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and leadership skills
  6. Proficiency with HR software and Microsoft Office suite
  7. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
