Quality Assurance Manager – AAAK Projects

Salary: AUD $95,000 – $110,000 per annum (commensurate with experience)

Role Overview:
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Manager to lead and oversee our quality systems and ensure compliance across all projects. This role will play a critical part in maintaining AAAK Projects’ reputation for excellence in construction standards, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and manage the company’s Quality Management System (QMS) across project lifecycles
- Monitor on-site processes to ensure alignment with company policies, industry standards, and legislative requirements
- Conduct regular quality audits, inspections, and reviews of construction activities and documentation
- Collaborate with project teams to identify risks, non-conformances, and areas for improvement
- Develop corrective and preventative action plans and monitor their effectiveness
- Liaise with clients, consultants, and regulatory authorities on quality compliance issues
- Maintain training records and ensure QA procedures are understood and followed by staff and subcontractors
- Prepare and present reports on QA performance to senior management
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related discipline
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a quality management or site compliance role in the construction sector
- Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 and relevant construction legislation and standards
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail and a proactive approach to quality and risk management
- Familiarity with QA software and reporting tools
Desirable:
- Lead Auditor certification or relevant QA training
- Experience in both civil and commercial construction environments
