Quality Assurance Manager – AAAK Projects

Location: Lansdowne, NSW 2163

Employment Type: Full-Time

Salary: AUD $95,000 – $110,000 per annum (commensurate with experience)

Role Overview:

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Manager to lead and oversee our quality systems and ensure compliance across all projects. This role will play a critical part in maintaining AAAK Projects’ reputation for excellence in construction standards, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop, implement, and manage the company’s Quality Management System (QMS) across project lifecycles
  2. Monitor on-site processes to ensure alignment with company policies, industry standards, and legislative requirements
  3. Conduct regular quality audits, inspections, and reviews of construction activities and documentation
  4. Collaborate with project teams to identify risks, non-conformances, and areas for improvement
  5. Develop corrective and preventative action plans and monitor their effectiveness
  6. Liaise with clients, consultants, and regulatory authorities on quality compliance issues
  7. Maintain training records and ensure QA procedures are understood and followed by staff and subcontractors
  8. Prepare and present reports on QA performance to senior management

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related discipline
  2. Minimum 3 years of experience in a quality management or site compliance role in the construction sector
  3. Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 and relevant construction legislation and standards
  4. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  5. Attention to detail and a proactive approach to quality and risk management
  6. Familiarity with QA software and reporting tools

Desirable:

  1. Lead Auditor certification or relevant QA training
  2. Experience in both civil and commercial construction environments
