Position Overview: As a valued member of our team, you will be responsible for a diverse array of duties, including but not limited to:

1. Preparation of Annual Statements of Accounts, Tax Returns, and supporting schedules in strict accordance with AASB and ASIC guidelines.
2. Delivering insightful presentations of Annual Reports and Management Reports to boards of directors, management, and key stakeholders.
3. Handling the meticulous preparation of individual tax returns, partnership returns, trust tax returns, and company tax returns, ensuring full compliance with ATO regulations.
4. Conducting thorough due diligence and audits for financial investigations, providing expert reports on matters relating to the purchase and sale of businesses, capital financing, insolvency, and taxation.
5. Formulating and implementing budgetary and accounting policies to enhance financial governance and performance.
6. Offering expert guidance on the selection and implementation of computer-based accounting systems to streamline operations and drive efficiency.
7. Preparing and lodging of Payment Summaries, Business Activity Statements, Taxable Payment Annual report and FBT.
8. Analyzing and monitoring Company’s income and expenditure to determine the state of the Company’s financial health.

Skills & Requirements: To excel in this role, you will need:

1. A minimum of 2 years' experience in an Accounting Firm.
2. Proficiency in financial software such as MYOB, Xero or QuickBooks
3. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
4. Excellent communication and presentation abilities
5. Ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently.
6. Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field (CPA or CA qualification preferred)
