Position Summary: The Remedial Massage Therapist delivers therapeutic massage
treatments to clients, aiming to address musculoskeletal conditions, alleviate pain, and promote
overall wellness. This role requires conducting client assessments, developing individualised
treatment plans, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care.
A key performance indicator for this position is maintaining a combined client retention rate of at
least 35%, emphasising the importance of building and sustaining strong client relationships.
Additionally, the therapist is expected to mentor new therapists entering the business and the
industry, fostering their professional growth and integration into the team. The therapist will also
ensure high team morale, maintain a clean and functional workspace and manage inventory
levels from time to time, the therapist may also be called upon to perform additional tasks such
as administrative work, assisting with marketing activities, coordinating with contractors or
other third parties, and maintaining an efficient appointment schedule in collaboration with the
administrative team. Therapist may also be called upon to work at other clinic locations as
required.

Qualifications:
? Diploma of Remedial Massage or higher.
? At least 3 years of work experience as a Remedial Massage Therapist
? Professional indemnity insurance.
? Member of Myotherapy/Remedial Massage Associate
? Eligibility for provider numbers with Australian health funds.
? Proficiency in various massage techniques, including deep tissue, sports, and
myotherapy.
? Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
? Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
? Commitment to ongoing professional development.
? Willingness and ability to mentor and support new therapists.
? Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage inventory and maintain a clean
workspace.
? Proficiency in scheduling software and appointment management to ensure efficient

? Physical stamina to perform massages for extended periods.
Working Hours: The clinic operates Monday to Friday from 7 AM to 9 PM and Saturday and
Sunday from 9 AM to 6 PM. Flexibility in scheduling is required to meet client needs within these
hours
