Retail Manager - Mobil Gunnedah

Mobil Gunnedah is seeking a dedicated Retail Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our convenience store, located within a high-traffic Mobil fuel station. Salary range: $ 70,000 to $ 80,000 per annum
About the Role:
As the Retail Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth, efficient, and profitable operation of the store. This includes managing staff, driving sales, maintaining stock levels, and delivering outstanding customer experiences in a safe and organised environment.
Key Responsibilities:
·Oversee the daily operations of the store, ensuring seamless and effective functioning.
·Coordinate store and forecourt operations to ensure smooth customer flow and unified service delivery.
·Manage inventory, maintain optimal stock levels, and ensure timely replenishment of products.
·Develop purchasing strategies, implement pricing models, and align product offerings with business goals.
·Plan and execute marketing initiatives, promotional campaigns, and in-store displays to enhance sales.
·Ensure high levels of customer service by supporting customers with product inquiries and issue resolution.
·Maintain accurate records of financial transactions, inventory, and daily banking procedures.
·Manage budgets, control expenses, and contribute to financial planning and reporting.
·Lead the recruitment, training, rostering, and performance management of staff to maximise team performance.
·Ensure the store remains clean, well-presented, and in line with brand standards at all times.
·Enforce adherence to workplace health and safety policies and fuel station safety protocols, including hazardous goods compliance.
·Oversee POS operations and ensure transaction accuracy and compliance.
·Monitor store performance, analyse sales data, and provide regular progress updates to the business owner.
·Coordinate with fuel station management and suppliers to manage stock deliveries and supply needs.
·Identify and resolve maintenance or safety issues to maintain a secure and welcoming environment.
