About the role…

We are looking for an inventive developer to join our industry-leading Cubit teams, focussed on delivering our Construction Estimating software solution globally.

This role will have you working on Machine learning & Machine Vision across Python & .NET in our south-western Sydney based team.

Working in a tight-knit company dedicated to excellence and growth, you will work amongst Web App development with .NET Core, Angular, MySQL & AWS as well as Windows Desktop development utilizing .NET WinForms, PostgreSQL

This role requires three days onsite at our Campbelltown location

Responsibilities

1. Design, code, test and debug software, utilizing technologies, development tools and languages as required for the project assigned.
2. Collaborate with Product Management, Software Quality Assurance, DevOps, Architecture, and other functional teams (e.g. Customer experience, Sales, Marketing), to ensure that solutions are efficient, consistent and fulfill business needs
3. Work in an Agile software development environment (e.g. Scrum, Kanban), participating in commitment, retrospective and planning meetings
4. Participate in requirements reviews
5. Refactor existing software
6. Apply generally accepted development and quality assurance standards and techniques to assure efficient program logic and data manipulation
7. Participate in design and design reviews
8. Independently design quality solutions for small to medium features

Requirements

1. 5+ years full-stack application development in enterprise environments, with a track record of increasing technical leadership responsibilities
2. Expert proficiency (3+ years) with .NET, Python and deep understanding of Angular framework architecture.
3. Demonstrated expertise (3+ years) applying machine learning with TensorFlow, Microsoft R, Keras, OpenCV, and ML Ops pipelines, specifyingexperience with model optimization techniques.
4. 2+ years architecting and managing complex cloud infrastructure on AWS & Azure, including specific examples utilizing VPC, IAM, EKS, serverless & containers.
5. 6 - 12 months+ applying Machine Vision algorithms to construction & architectural drawings on commercial software packages, providing evidence of designing & implementing solution efficiency improvements.
