HIRING PERMANENT FULL TIME ACCOUNTS CLERK (SALARY $75,000 - $85,000 + SUPER)

We are currently looking for qualified Accounts Clerks to join our growing team.

Serenity Global Pty Ltd ATF Mittal Singh Family Trust (ABN: 54 576 718 982), trading as Comfort Inn Flinders on Main (Port Pirie), Comfort Inn Serenity Bathurst (Bathurst), and Serenity Bar & Restaurant (Port Pirie), is an Australian-owned and operated private company that has been lawfully and actively operating in regional NSW since April 2019. We are currently seeking an Accounts Clerk to join our team, with the position based at our Bathurst, NSW location.

About the Role (LOCATION : COMFORT INN SERENITY BATHURST , 19 Havannah St BATHURST NSW 2795)

As an Accounts Clerk you would be responsible for handling and processing documentation for accounts payable and receivable, as well as undertaking the following duties:

• Ensuring efficient record management and timely reconciliation of payments.

• Conducting invoice reconciliations and coordinating payments, verifying accuracy in all financial transactions.

• Analysing costs related to proposed expenses, wages, and standard operational costs to support budget planning and financial forecasting.

• Performing bank reconciliations and allocating expenditures to appropriate budget accounts, keeping records aligned with financial goals.

• Summarizing and tracking financial inflows and outflows, preparing clear reports on total expenditures, receipts, and profit margins.

• Compiling cost data to aid in the preparation of operating budgets, profit and loss reports, and pricing strategies.

This position reports to the Director

Relevant qualifications: AQF Certificate II or III (in a related field)

Relevant experience: A minimum of one year of experience in a similar role.

Relevant skills:

• strong communication and interpersonal skills

• strong organizational skills and

• attention to detail

• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., MYOB, Xero, QuickBooks)

• Strong organizational and time management skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• A relevant qualification in accounting or finance is advantageous

• Knowledge of Australian taxation laws is a plus
