Services Manager


We need a Services Manager who will be responsible for the day-to-day functioning and improvements across our business through the development, implementation and refinement of systems, working to ensure efficient and smooth service delivery and general operations.

As Services Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our business and the lives of the individuals we serve. You will lead a passionate team of clinicians and administrative staff, fostering a collaborative environment that prioritizes high-quality care and exceptional client experiences.

This role requires a proven leader with experience in healthcare or similar fields and a passion for supporting clients in the community through our mobile health services. Ideally, you will need to have 5+ years of experience in managing and supporting clinical teams across multiple locations within a fast-paced, high-volume administrative setting.

Our business has experienced significant growth over the past 12 months, and we are currently opening new branch in Bathurst, NSW.

As a result, we are seeking a flexible and adaptable individual who can thrive in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment. This role is pivotal in maintaining our high standards of care and ensuring that our team continues to deliver exceptional services to our clients. Your ability to navigate change, implement efficient processes, and support the team through this period of growth will be key to our continued success.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Oversee the day-to-day operations of care services, ensuring high-quality care delivery and efficient resource utilization.
  2. Monitor and evaluate service performance against established benchmarks, initiating improvements as needed.
  3. Ensure all care services comply with relevant health and safety legislation, industry standards, and accreditation requirements.
  4. Lead continuous quality improvement initiatives, including risk management, incident reporting, and corrective action processes.
  5. Training Support workers.
  6. Provide ongoing supervision, mentoring, and professional development opportunities to ensure staff competency and engagement.
  7. Build and maintain effective relationships with external stakeholders including health service providers, regulatory bodies, and community organizations.
  8. Represent the care services division at meetings, forums, and industry events to promote collaborative initiatives.
  9. Develop and manage budgets for the care services department, ensuring financial accountability and cost-effectiveness.
  10. Allocate resources effectively to support service delivery and program expansion.
  11. Oversee the design, implementation, and evaluation of care programs that meet community health needs.
  12. Utilize data-driven insights to optimize service delivery and enhance client outcomes.
  13. Prepare regular reports on service performance, compliance, and quality improvement for senior management and regulatory bodies.

Essentials for Success in this Role:

- A minimum of 5 years’ work experienceas a manager with medical experience

- Bachelor’s degree is preferred

- Demonstrated effective leadership skills, including highly developed skills in communication, problem solving and negotiation

- Ability to assess the operational performance of care services and capacity to develop strategies to improve performance and quality of care delivered to clients

- Multi language communication

- Local experience of disability and behavior support services

- Confident mastery of common IT and software tools and platforms relating to client information management and business planning
