Salary: AUD 76,000 to 80,000 + Superannuation

As part of our growth, we are looking for an experienced Retail Manager to join our team and contribute to our ongoing success. This is an excellent opportunity to take the lead in managing our day-to-day retail operations, working closely with a dedicated team, and overseeing a well-established store in a growing community.
Minimum Requirements:
- AQF Associate Degree, Advanced Diploma or Diploma with at least 1 year of experience in a similar retail management role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee day-to-day operations of the retail store, ensuring smooth and efficient service delivery.
- Manage a team of retail staff, including training, scheduling, and performance management to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Drive store sales and profitability, setting and monitoring targets to achieve financial goals.
- Ensure stock control, including ordering, inventory management, and merchandising, while ensuring the store maintains optimal stock levels.
- Develop and maintain customer relationships, offering exceptional customer service and resolving any complaints or issues promptly.
- Monitor and manage store finances, including cash handling, sales analysis, and reporting on financial performance.
- Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety (WHS) policies and procedures, as well as legal and industry standards.
- Implement marketing strategies to promote the store and increase foot traffic, including local promotions and advertising.
- Prepare and execute regular reports on sales, staffing, inventory, and customer feedback to senior management.
- Ensure store cleanliness and presentation, maintaining high standards of store appearance at all times.
- Lead by example, fostering a positive, productive, and team-oriented environment.
Skills Required:
- Leadership & Management: Proven ability to lead, inspire, and manage a team.
- Retail Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of retail operations, sales strategies, and inventory management.
- Customer Service Excellence: A passion for delivering exceptional service and creating a positive customer experience.
- Financial Acumen: Ability to manage budgets, sales targets, and cost control.
- Problem Solving: Ability to resolve issues efficiently, handling customer complaints and staff concerns with professionalism.
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills to engage with staff, customers, and senior management.
- Tech-Savvy: Familiarity with POS systems, stock management software, and MS Office.
