About the role

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Restaurant Manager to join our team at Social Eating House + Bar in Broadbeach, Queensland. As the Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our vibrant establishment, ensuring exceptional customer service and driving the overall success of the business.

What you'll be doing

1. Manage and lead a team of front-of-house staff, including hosts, servers, and bartenders, to ensure seamless service delivery
2. Oversee the efficient and effective running of all restaurant operations, including reservations, table management, and inventory control
3. Develop and implement strategies to enhance the customer experience, maximise revenue, and foster a positive work environment
4. Monitor and analyse key performance indicators to identify opportunities for improvement and implement data-driven decisions
5. Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and licensing regulations
6. Foster a positive and collaborative team culture, providing coaching, training, and support to staff
7. Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure menu items are consistently prepared to high standards
8. Manage all administrative tasks, including staff scheduling, payroll, and inventory management

What we're looking for

1. Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar restaurant management role, preferably in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
2. Demonstrated expertise in managing all aspects of restaurant operations, including staff, inventory, and financial controls
3. Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
4. Excellent customer service skills and a commitment to delivering an exceptional dining experience
5. Proficiency in using restaurant management software and point-of-sale systems
6. A passion for the hospitality industry and a deep understanding of food and beverage trends
7. Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to think strategically
8. A relevant tertiary qualification in Hospitality Management or a related field is highly desirable
