An opportunity has become available at Boone and Willard Plumbing Pty Ltd for a Project Administrator. This positionprovides essential administrative support to project managers and key project stakeholders in the project life cycle stages, ensuring that milestones and requirements are met as per the contract specifications as well as the Australian Standards. This is a full-time position (38 hours per week) located in Bella Vista, NSW.

Duties:
- Review subcontract, contract drawings, and hydraulic specifications to ensure compliance in project requirements and applicable laws
- Preparation of project documentation such as O&M manuals, schedules, registers etc.
- Prepare quality management plan to suit project requirements and ensure applicable Inspection Test Plans are included
- Prepare safety management plan and Safe Work Method Statement (SWMS) for the applicable works to be done in the project
- Assist with the site onboarding and inductions while coordinating with sub-contractors to obtain required documentation
- Develop project schedules and take off which include, but are not limited to Fixture Count, Equipment Schedule, Acoustic Mark Ups, Meter Schedule, etc.
- Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive pricing for materials, labour and other services
- Ensure the project complies with all the requirements of applicable authorities (NSFW, Jemena, Sydney Water, etc.)
- Preparation of sample materials submission for approval prior to use on site
- Setting up of project management platforms as required by the Builder
- Identifies and issues variation requests that occurs due to the changes with the agreed project scope, design, and/or instruction from the Builder
- Assist in the design and development of tenders
- Monitors subcontractors claim invoices versus progress of actual work done
- Ensures updated documentation of project paperwork, contract variations, and reports
- Continuous collaboration with project stakeholders of the project
Qualification Requirements
- Minimum relevant Diploma level qualification or higher / or equivalent relevant experience in a Project Administrator role
Required experience
- Recent minimum of one year of relevant experience working in a Project Administrator role within the plumbing, engineering or construction industry
- Ability to read and interpret plans and specifications
Desired experience /skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc)
- Prior experience in using construction management software (Aconex, iTWOcx, etc.) is an advantage
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proactive approach to problem solving and multitasking
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Ability to work wither independently or as part of a team
