As a Resource Planner at Megadeck, you will play a pivotal role in the heart of our Sydney operations. Working from our Botany warehouse, you will be responsible for the efficient allocation and oversight of our critical resources—our crew and our vehicles. This role is ideal for a proactive problem-solver who thrives in a fast-paced environment and excels at making real-time decisions to drive optimal results.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Forecast and allocate essential resources, including crew and vehicles, for upcoming confirmed projects.
  2. Collaborate closely with our sales and warehouse teams to ensure the efficient and smooth delivery of projects.
  3. Source and coordinate external labour to fill any resource shortages as required.
  4. Reconcile weekly crew attendance using our Timecloud software to support the payroll process.
  5. Ensure compliance with Megadeck's operational processes and documentation standards.
  6. Monitor staff wellbeing and adherence to WHS policies, referring any issues to management.
  7. Optimise resource allocation to manage overtime effectively, utilising flexible resources to meet daily and future demands.

Key Skills and Experience:

  1. A sound knowledge of the events industry is adventageous.
  2. Proven experience in resource planning, project management, or a similar logistics-focused role.
  3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to delegate responsibility effectively.
  4. High attention to detail and a methodical approach to processes and problem-solving.
  5. The ability to thrive in a high-pressure, deadline-driven environment, adapting to last-minute changes with a calm and resourceful approach.
  6. A sound knowledge of workplace safety standards and practices.
  7. A resilient, conscientious, and persistent attitude.

Salary and Benefits:
