Key responsibilities:

1. Developing advanced skills in creating detailed drawings, plans, and diagrams for complex systems
2. Use industry-standard CAD software for precise and professional-quality diagrams
3. Integrate various components and systems into comprehensive electrical schematics
4. Participating in projects requiring detailed documentation of complex electrical systems
5. Developing advanced understanding and practical skills in designing and laying out complex electrical systems
6. Contribute effectively to detailed design tasks, ensuring accurate integration of all components
7. Hands-on experience with sophisticated systems
8. Be involved in project teams working on complex installations, from initial design to final implementation
9. Managing data specific to complex systems, including real-time data collection
10. Conduct advanced tests and perform intricate calculations relevant to engineering
11. Undertake more complex data analysis and chart preparation
12. Use advanced tools for data acquisition and performance evaluation
13. Estimating costs and quantities for complex projects
14. Estimate materials for advanced systems, considering specific project requirements
15. Create detailed material lists and cost analyses for complex installations
16. Review designs for compliance with complex specifications and regulations
17. Use specialised tools and checklists for detailed inspections
18. Verify that systems meet all relevant standards and regulatory requirements
19. Assembling and configuring complex systems with precision
20. Develop skills in advanced testing methods and modifications for enhanced performance
21. Troubleshooting and resolving complex issues in advanced systems
22. Installing and configuring advanced protection relays and indicating devices
23. Set up systems to ensure effective protection and accurate monitoring
24. Design and set up experiments with appropriate equipment
25. Staying updated on emerging technologies and incorporating new methodologies into research programs

The successful candidate will:

1. Minimum 1-year relevant work experience in a similar role
2. At least diploma in electrical engineering or compute science & technology
3. Be highly organised with a strong ability to work under pressure
4. Have excellent attention to detail and a can-do attitude
5. Have experience maintaining safety standards, and risk minimisation
6. Possess the ability to pivot between working autonomously and being part of a team
7. Openness to continuous professional development and staying updated with the latest advancements in electrical engineering technology
8. Mandarin speaking is an advantageous
