Key responsibilities:
- Developing advanced skills in creating detailed drawings, plans, and diagrams for complex systems
- Use industry-standard CAD software for precise and professional-quality diagrams
- Integrate various components and systems into comprehensive electrical schematics
- Participating in projects requiring detailed documentation of complex electrical systems
- Developing advanced understanding and practical skills in designing and laying out complex electrical systems
- Contribute effectively to detailed design tasks, ensuring accurate integration of all components
- Hands-on experience with sophisticated systems
- Be involved in project teams working on complex installations, from initial design to final implementation
- Managing data specific to complex systems, including real-time data collection
- Conduct advanced tests and perform intricate calculations relevant to engineering
- Undertake more complex data analysis and chart preparation
- Use advanced tools for data acquisition and performance evaluation
- Estimating costs and quantities for complex projects
- Estimate materials for advanced systems, considering specific project requirements
- Create detailed material lists and cost analyses for complex installations
- Review designs for compliance with complex specifications and regulations
- Use specialised tools and checklists for detailed inspections
- Verify that systems meet all relevant standards and regulatory requirements
- Assembling and configuring complex systems with precision
- Develop skills in advanced testing methods and modifications for enhanced performance
- Troubleshooting and resolving complex issues in advanced systems
- Installing and configuring advanced protection relays and indicating devices
- Set up systems to ensure effective protection and accurate monitoring
- Design and set up experiments with appropriate equipment
- Staying updated on emerging technologies and incorporating new methodologies into research programs
The successful candidate will:
- Minimum 1-year relevant work experience in a similar role
- At least diploma in electrical engineering or compute science & technology
- Be highly organised with a strong ability to work under pressure
- Have excellent attention to detail and a can-do attitude
- Have experience maintaining safety standards, and risk minimisation
- Possess the ability to pivot between working autonomously and being part of a team
- Openness to continuous professional development and staying updated with the latest advancements in electrical engineering technology
- Mandarin speaking is an advantageous
