About the Role

As our Function Coordinator, you will be the heart of our events business. You will manage the entire function process, from initial inquiry to final execution and follow-up. This is a dynamic role that requires exceptional communication, organizational skills, and a keen eye for detail.

Key Responsibilities

1. Sales & Client Management: Respond promptly to function inquiries, conduct site inspections, and professionally manage client communication.
2. Planning & Coordination: Work closely with clients to understand their needs (weddings, corporate events, private parties), prepare detailed function sheets, and manage booking calendars.
3. Financial Administration: Prepare quotes, contracts, and invoices, ensuring all financial procedures are followed accurately.
4. Operational Liaison: Coordinate seamlessly with the Head Chef and FOH regarding staffing, logistics, menu requirements, and setup specifications.
5. Day-of Execution: Oversee the successful execution of events, ensuring exceptional service standards and client satisfaction.

What You'll Bring

1. Proven Experience: Minimum of 2 years experience in a similar Function, Events, or Venue Coordinator role, preferably within hospitality.
2. Exceptional Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills for professional client and team interaction.
3. Organizational Prowess: Superior planning, time management, and multitasking abilities.
4. Customer Focus: A genuine commitment to delivering outstanding customer service and creating memorable events.
5. Flexibility: Availability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends, as required by the event calendar.
6. Software Proficiency: Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
