What You Will Do

As a Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) Specialist at Ascension Technologies, you will have an opportunity to support and create risk management processes for Ascension Technologies.

Designs a risk management strategy utilizing industry known risk management frameworks with broad implication for the business and/or the future architecture, successfully addressing cross-technology and cross-platform risk.
Develops partnerships with senior users to understand their business needs and define future risk management requirements.
Analyzes complex business issues and discerns the implications for risk mitigation and support.
Maintains current knowledge of HIPAA Security Rule and other regulations as they relate to information security

4 years of experience in Information Technology
4 years of experience in Healthcare
2 years of experience as a Team Lead preferred
Experience in technology risk management preferred
Experience in technology risk management frameworks preferred

Required:

Excellent communication skills in both written in oral form
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently with minimum supervision
Ability to work with confidential information

What You Will Need

• Education:
• High school diploma/GED with 2 years of experience, or Associate’s degree, or Bachelor’s degree required

Work Experience:

• 1 year of experience required.
• 4 years of experience preferred.
• 2 years of leadership or management experience preferred.
