We are currently seeking an Accountant to join our team at TSA Accountants & Business Advisors located at 9 Vale Street, Malaga WA 6090. The position is full time, 38 hours per week. For the successful candidate a salary of $75,000 to $80,000 per annum + superannuation will be offered.

Role and Responsibilities:

1. Develop and implement strategies, financial models, and initiatives aimed at promoting company growth, managing cash flow, and optimizing profits
2. Oversee the payroll and superannuation processing for the company’s operations team.
3. Work with external accountants to ensure proper bookkeeping and timely ATO lodgments.
4. Conduct comprehensive financial analyses to identify emerging trends, risks, and improvement areas, providing insights for informed business decisions.
5. Track and control expenses, develop cost models for products, manage pricing strategies, and assess the return on capital investments, all while ensuring cost efficiency and maintaining product quality.
6. Maintain liquidity to ensure smooth daily operations and support business expansion.
7. Collaborate with various business units to negotiate supply contracts, manage procurement, and oversee inventory management practices, while conducting periodic cost and pricing evaluations.
8. Identify opportunities for process improvements and enhanced resource utilization to drive company-wide efficiencies.
9. Supervise the monthly reconciliation process and manage aged receivables to minimize financial risks.
10. Assist with accounts payable and receivable processes for income and purchasing transactions.
11. Provide accurate monthly revenue and expenditure forecasts and report any variances.

Qualifications and Requirements:

1. Relevant qualifications
2. 1 year experience required
3. Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
4. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
5. Knowledge of accounting software.
6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
