Position Description:
The Fast Food Manager is responsible for overseeing daily operations, managing staff, ensuring excellent customer service, and achieving business objectives in alignment with company policies and procedures. This role requires leadership skills, operational expertise, and a strong understanding of hospitality management to ensure the efficient functioning of the café.

- Ensures efficiency and high standards of service in daily operations.
- Implements business strategies to enhance revenue, control costs, and maximize profitability.
- Manages stock levels, orders supplies, and maintains inventory for seamless operations.
- Monitors and ensures compliance with food safety, hygiene, and workplace health & safety standards.
- Manages point-of-sale (POS) systems, ensuring accurate pricing, promotions, and sales recording.
- Recruits, trains, and supervises employees, ensuring adherence to company policies and service standards.
- Develops staff rosters, assigns duties, and monitors performance to optimize productivity.
- Conducts staff performance reviews and provides coaching and feedback.
- Fosters a positive team culture, encourages teamwork, and promotes excellent customer service.
- Handles customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback efficiently to enhance guest satisfaction.
- Implements strategies to improve customer experience and encourage repeat business.
- Analyzes financial reports, sales data, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess business performance.
- Manages budgets, controls expenses, and identifies cost-saving opportunities.
- Implements marketing and promotional activities to increase sales and customer engagement.
- Monitors cash handling, bank reconciliations, and financial transactions for accuracy and security.
- Ensures compliance with Australian workplace laws, employment regulations, and Fair Work requirements.
- Adheres to franchise guidelines, operational procedures, and quality control measures.
- Implements company policies related to safety, food handling, and workplace compliance.
- Coordinates with external agencies, suppliers, and auditors to maintain regulatory standards.
Qualifications and Experience Required:
- Applicants must hold an AQF Associate Degree, Advanced Diploma, or Diploma, along with at least one year of relevant experience in hospitality or retail management.
- Demonstrated leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Strong communication, customer service, and team management skills.
- Proficiency in POS systems, inventory management, and sales reporting software.

Hours of Work:
This is a full-time position requiring the successful candidate to work a minimum of 38 hours per week. Shift schedules may vary in accordance with operational requirements.
Salary:
The annual base salary for this role is $77,000, plus 12% superannuation, bringing the total gross remuneration package to $86,240 per annum.
