Position Accountabilities

·Developing and sustaining accounting systems, and advising on the implementation of appropriate financial software solutions

·Supporting the design and execution of accounting and budgetary policies

·Compiling financial statements for submission to boards of directors, senior management, shareholders, and regulatory bodies

·Evaluating organizational income and expenditures, and analyzing operating costs to enhance financial efficiency

·Delivering strategic advice on tax and financial matters, including business planning, structuring, and operations

·Carrying out financial investigations, preparing detailed reports, conducting audits, and offering expert guidance on mergers, acquisitions, capital financing, fraud detection, insolvency, and taxation

·Verifying the accuracy and legal compliance of financial documents and reports

·Managing and monitoring the general ledger including adjusting entries and month-end closings.

·Engaging with financial institutions and brokers to establish and manage investment and fund arrangements

·Managing internal control frameworks to uphold financial accuracy and safeguard assets

·Preparing payroll report review and processing of related journals for salary and wages and payroll-related taxes and costs.

·Oversee the full cycle of accounts payable processes, including invoice processing, payment processing, expense claims and vendor management for the business requirements and the projects.
