Overview

This role encompasses the management of In the Roundhouse’s (ITRH) day-to-day retail business. Additionally, the management and oversight of logistics from import of goods from China, export of goods to wholesale partners globally and domestic logistics across local wholesale partners and individual consumers.

Responsible for

1. Overview of inventory flows and forecasts to ensure timely replenishment of goods within budget
2. Overview of product cost prices and retail margins
3. Management of internal software systems to maintain accuracy of freight and related inventory data
4. Management of freight costs with all domestic and international carriers
5. Management of relationships with carriers
6. Overview of costs including fluctuations during seasonal periods - negotiation of contracts with carriers to ensure competitive pricing
7. Management of customs invoicing and import requirements
8. Management of customer service and customer retention processes
9. Scheduling, training and management of additional staff during high season
10. Working closely with company directors on marketing and advertising plans
11. Maintenance of ITRH software systems
12. Ensuring occupational health and safety regulations are adhered to

This role reports to the company directors.
