K.KAMITSIS & J.STUCKERT NOMINEES PTY LTD, trading as Elements Glass, a locally owned & operated glass and aluminium specialist is in need of full-time below positions to join our growing team in the NT immediately.
General Benefits:
- Annual salary from $65,000 - $80,000 plus super with 38 working hours per week, Monday to Friday with some overtime available depending on the workload.
- Full-time permanent contract.
1/ Glazier
- Identify the correct type and dimensions of glass based on installation plans, customer requirements, and site measurements.
- Prepare glass panels by laying them over patterns or templates to ensure accurate shaping and cutting.
- Measure and mark glass sheets with precision before cutting to size using hand tools or machinery.
- Inspect glass panels for any faults or defects, including cracks or blemishes, and mark unsuitable areas for removal.
- Cut glass accurately following specifications, templates, or patterns provided for custom installations.
- Separate and remove excess material from cut glass using glass pliers or notched tools in preparation for installation.
- Install glass panels and mirrors in a range of applications, such as windows, doors, balustrades, splash backs, shower screens, shopfronts, and partitions.
- Smooth and finish the edges of glass using belt sanders and other equipment to ensure clean and safe handling and fit.
- Carry out specialised treatments such as etching, coating, or trimming where required to achieve specific design or performance effects.
- Guide and support builder’s labourers in general glazing-related tasks to ensure safety, accuracy, and efficiency on-site.
- Other related tasks as assigned on-site.
General Requirements:
- Qualification or background in glass processing is preferred (Certificate III or Certificate IV). At least three years of relevant experience may substitute for the formal qualification.
- Minimum 1–2 years of relevant experience assisting in glazing work.
- Knowledge of glass types and applications
- Possible overtime and weekend work.
- Demand for high quality standards.
2/ Builder's Labourer
- Preparing worksites for glazing projects, including clearing, measuring, unloading, and positioning glass panels and hardware.
- Assisting with the safe handling, lifting, and alignment of glass panels, frames, and related materials using manual tools and lifting equipment.
- Carrying and moving materials such as glass panes, aluminium frames, glazing accessories, and fixings to support tradespeople.
- Supporting the installation of glazing systems by preparing openings, holding glass in place, and assisting with securing fittings under the supervision of qualified glaziers.
- Performing general site labour such as mixing materials, drilling, sealing, and assisting with waterproofing tasks where required.
- Cleaning and tidying worksites before, during, and after installation to maintain a safe and professional working environment.
- Assisting tradespeople with basic manual labour tasks and ensuring tools, equipment, and materials are available when required.
- Carrying out other related on-site duties to support glazing and installation projects.
General Requirements:
- Minimum 1-2 years’ relevant experience.
- Physically fit.
- Experience in construction is desirable but not essential.
- Willingness to learn and follow safety and operational procedures.
- Able to work as part of a close-knit team and follow instructions accurately.
3/ Accounts Clerk
- Provide accounting and clerical support to the management.
- Prepare and maintain accounting documents and records for accounts payable and receivable.
- Reconcile accounts in a timely manner.
- Prepare bank deposits, general ledger posting and statement.
- Daily enter key data of financial transactions in accounting software.
- Research, track and restore accounting or documentation problems and discrepancies.
- Inform management and compile reports/summaries on activity areas.
- Prepare all accounts data for profit and loss calculation File expenditures and reimbursement receipts.
- Other related tasks as assigned.
General Requirements:
- Relevant AQF Certificate II or III in accounting, OR at least 1 year of relevant experience can substitute.
- At least 1-2 years of accounting or relevant experience.
- Excellent communication, English proficiency a must.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Good interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity with accounting software and Microsoft Office.
