About the Role

Better Choice Minilya Bridge Roadhouse is seeking a dedicated and experienced Motel Manager to join our team. We are looking for someone with a strong background in the hospitality industry, with experience using channel managers and proficiency in RMS or similar accommodation/reservation software.

The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, organized, a team player, and comfortable handling a variety of tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):

- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the roadhouse motel, including guest relations, staff management, and property management

- Liaise with housekeeping, reservations, and maintenance teams to ensure smooth operations

- Resolve guest complaints promptly and escalate significant issues to senior management

- Monitor and review customer satisfaction, implementing strategies to improve guest experience

- Use hotel-based computer systems for bookings and operations

- Generate reports and reconcile daily transactions accurately

- Ensure compliance with liquor, gaming, OH&S, and other regulations

Requirements:

- Relevant qualification (Associate degree, Diploma or Advanced Diploma)

- At least 2 years of experience in a similar role

- Proficiency in RMS or similar accommodation systems and reservation management

- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make decisions independently

- Ability to manage time effectively and handle multiple tasks
