Key Responsibilities

1. Preparation of financial statements and income tax returns for companies, trusts, super funds, and individuals.
2. Lodgement of BAS, IAS, and payroll tax returns, as well as managing annual FBT submissions.
3. Reconciliation of balance sheets and profit & loss accounts.
4. Preparation of management reports with insightful financial analysis.
5. Maintenance of fixed asset registers and preparation of accurate depreciation schedules.
6. Liaison with clients and the ATO to ensure compliance and optimize tax positions.

Qualifications & Skills

1. Minimum 3 years of accounting experience in a professional services environment.
2. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Master’s degree or CPA qualification in progress is a plus).
3. Proficiency in accounting software, including XERO, MYOB, and QuickBooks.
4. Strong knowledge of financial reporting, tax preparation, and compliance.
5. Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
6. Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
