We are currently looking for a new Computer Systems Technician NSW_ACT to join our Sydney office. Prior experience in servers, LAN, and WAN network management is required. Basic electrical and electronics experience is preferred but not essential; training on all systems will be provided.

The key focus of this role will be providing technical support for the installation, configuration, and maintenance of electronic locking software applications, servers, and network devices. You will integrate door locking and energy management software applications with property management systems, utilizing knowledge of TCP/IP and Web API interfaces. Additional responsibilities include responding to inquiries about software and hardware problems, diagnosing and repairing faults in systems and equipment, installing and downloading appropriate software, ensuring efficient use of applications and equipment, and providing instruction to users on system operations and procedures. You will work closely with our clients, developing business relationships, managing their service expectations, troubleshooting, diagnosing, and resolving technical issues to meet their needs.

Key skills required for this role:

1. Current Driver’s License
2. Excellent written and verbal communication skills
3. Experience working with automation systems
4. The ability to participate in a rotational After-Hours Roster

Reporting to the Service & Project Manager and servicing the NSW/ACT regions, the successful applicant must be willing to travel interstate and to remote locations on short notice.

A competitive salary, $74-$79k, plus super will be negotiated based on experience and ability. The position is full-time and comes with a mobile phone and laptop.
