About the Role:

As an Accountant at Intellitrac, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the financial health of our organisation. Your expertise will ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance with industry standards. The role is integral to our operations, enabling data-driven decisions and supporting strategic growth initiatives. Key Responsibilities:

- Prepare and examine financial records to ensure accuracy and compliance.

- Manage invoices, expenses, and reconciliation of accounts payable and receivable.

- Assists oversee budget preparation and financial forecasting.

- Conduct regular bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.

- Liaise with department heads to gather and analyze financial data.

- Maintain and file all financial records and ensure adherence to company policies.

- Conduct financial audits and implement audit recommendations.

- Monitor and report on financial discrepancies and variances.

- Collaborate with senior management to develop cost-saving and process optimization strategies.

- Provide detailed financial analysis and insights to support business strategy.

- Ensure compliance with relevant taxation and statutory obligations.

- Prepare and oversee financial statements, including balance sheets and profit and loss statements.

- Lead internal control reviews and ensure continuous improvement of accounting processes.

Who We’re Looking For:

We seek a meticulous and analytical professional who is ready to take on challenges and grow with us.

- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, or a related field.

- Proficiency in accounting software [ Xero, MYOB] and MS Office Suite.

- Excellent understanding of accounting principles and financial legislation.

- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

- Ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively within a team.

- Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and a proactive approach.

- at least 3 years of experience in a similar role is required.
