We are looking for a collaborative and innovative UX designer with a demonstrated aesthetic and a strategic mind to support SMB ecommerce customer journeys. In partnership with the direct team, you will explore, ideate, and create customer-centric experiences that are both intuitive and functional.
In this UX role, you will take on complex UI patterns and interaction problems, providing innovative solutions that serve key core revenue goals. You should have a strong understanding of user-centered design principles and interaction design, plus an interest in the technical aspects that bring designs to life. You can communicate and translate ideas to the team and lead and champion collaborative design techniques.
You will oversee the strategic remit of our components, UX patterns, and system-of-systems strategy to help deliver platform-capable experiences at enterprise scale. You will design new patterns for our core design system, create libraries, and communicate potential solutions to other UX design teams.
On any given day, you may find yourself conceptualizing, designing, prototyping, and testing ideas via Figma while ensuring those designs support user goals and meet the overall business requirements. You will also generate detailed UX guidelines, proactively solicit feedback, and offer thoughtful critique that elevates the work of those around you.
Finally, you’re skilled at articulating UX design rationale, putting the customer experience first, and tying decisions to project goals and experience strategy. You will collaborate cross-functionally with the Web Marketing team and build relationships with other designers, front-end, and back-end developers. Success in this role means taking an innovative, strategic approach to customer-journey problems and solving complex challenges with clear communication and collaboration. You put yourself in the customer role and optimize for their experience while making decisions that demonstrate flexibility and remain nimble as you manage competing priorities.
If you have a passion for design and a keen desire to collaborate on innovative solutions that shape the future, we’d love to talk. Be prepared to share an engaging digital portfolio that shows both your conceptual skills and knowledge of UI/UX design principles for enterprise websites, online community portals, e-commerce, or product interface design.
