Contract Administrator


Skymark Group Pty Ltd is looking for a full-time Contract Administrator to join our team in NSW.

What You’ll Be Doing:

Contracts & Variations

  1. Prepare, review, and negotiate contracts with contractors and subcontractors.
  2. Manage contract variations, extensions of time and other contract related matters.
  3. Oversee tender processes to make sure contracts meet company policies and legal standards.

Support & Problem-Solving

  1. Be the main point of contact for contract-related questions and issues.
  2. Liaise internally and externally as required (e.g. with project managers, subcontractors, suppliers, etc) to resolve any contractual issues.

Documentation & Compliance

  1. Manage all contractual related documentation and correspondence, ensuring that it is accurate and up-to-date.

Collaboration & Project Monitoring

  1. Liaise and collaborate with project teams, including managers, engineers, and architects, to make sure milestones and objectives are met.
  2. Monitor contracted work and report on progress and variations.

Reporting & Advice

  1. Prepare contract-related reports for senior management, following directions as required.
  2. Highlight any contractual issues and suggest improvements.

Continuous Improvement

  1. Recommend ways to improve contract administration processes and ensure better efficiency.

Skills, qualifications and experience

  1. Relevant diploma or at least 3 years of relevant work experience to substitute
  2. At least 1 year of work experience in contract administration, ideally in construction, building or engineering.
  3. Strong understanding of contract management principles and practices.
  4. Comfortable using contract management software and Microsoft Office.
  5. Excellent written and verbal communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  6. Can prioritise tasks, manage deadlines, and pay attention to detail under pressure.

The salary for this position is $77,000 per annum plus superannuation.
