About the Role

We’re looking for an experienced technician who knows domestic coffee machines inside out. You’ll handle diagnostics, repairs, servicing and testing for brands like Breville, Nespresso, DeLonghi, Lelit, Sunbeam and others. The role suits someone who enjoys hands-on technical work, takes pride in quality, and understands the importance of fast turnaround and great customer communication.

Minimum Requirements:

1. AQF associate degree, Advanced Diploma, or Diploma with atleast 1 year of experience.

Responsibilities

•Diagnose, repair and service domestic coffee machines (manual, automatic, espresso and grind-and-brew units).

•Carry out routine maintenance: descaling, internal cleaning, full strip-downs, calibration and software updates.

•Assess warranty claims, prepare service notes and document findings in the service system.

•Test every unit thoroughly before return to customers.

•Work with the customer service team to provide technical clarity when needed.

•Maintain workshop standards, tools, spare-parts areas and safety compliance.

•Support the team during busy periods and contribute to continuous improvement.

Skills and qualifications

•Previous experience repairing domestic coffee machines is essential.

•Strong knowledge of pump systems, boilers, thermal blocks, pressure-related faults, electrical issues and valve replacements.

•Ability to read schematics and follow repair procedures.

•Comfortable using diagnostic tools and service software.

•Good communication skills and the ability to explain issues clearly.

•Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship.

•Australian work rights required.
