Intermediate BI Developer, Part-Time - 12 Month Contract - 18652

About the Opportunity 

Our reputable Ottawa client is looking for a versatile Intermediate BI Developer to join their Team. In this role, your primary responsibility will be reporting design and development (create, modify, and maintain) using Crystal reports based on business unit requirements. You will perform data extraction and transformation to connect various data sources (SQL databases, Excel files) and write queries to extract relevant data. You will also be performing Data Validation to ensure consistency and accuracy of data in reports. In this role you will work with multiple business units to understand any reporting needs. 

Duties include but are not limited to: 

• Strong experience in designing and developing reporting templates in crystal reports
• Designing, implementing, and maintaining SQL Servicer stored procedures, crystal reports and data sources
• Deliver timely assistance to clients and working collaboratively with other teams to ensure seamless integration of front-end and back-end services
• Exercise resourcefulness in determining the cause of problems 
• Great team player and excellent communication skills along with collaboration skills
• Maintain effective lines of communication with third level support groups 
• Adhere to all documented & formalized policies and procedures
