Salary: 75,000 to 85,000 AUD plus superannuation

About us

Kuljeet Pty Ltd is seeking a skilled and experienced Telecommunications Technical Officer to join our growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and supporting a wide range of telecommunications systems and equipment across commercial and residential sites. This role requires strong technical knowledge, problem-solving abilities, and the capability to work independently or alongside other engineers, field technicians, and project teams.

Key Responsibilities and Duties

Responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to (and may be varied):

1. Upgrade and maintain existing telecommunications systems for client and internal operations.
2. Evaluate customer requirements and install systems tailored to their specific communication
3. needs.
4. Perform routine system tests to ensure all components function at optimal levels.
5. Conduct diagnostic testing to identify and resolve faults in problematic telecommunications
6. systems.
7. Implement temporary fixes pending more extensive repair work.
8. Inspect completed wiring work, ensuring no exposed cables or unsafe installations.
9. Order and manage replacement components from approved vendors.
10. Investigate and resolve customer complaints efficiently and professionally.
11. Install, maintain and diagnose faults in communication systems.
12. Integrate networks and technologies with hardware, software, and databases.
13. Document equipment details, inventory, and maintenance logs in line with company standards.
14. Provide technical support and advice to clients and monitor network performance.
15. Plan and develop customer access network infrastructure.
16. Liaise with suppliers, service providers, and vendors while monitoring contractual compliance.
17. Troubleshoot and repair complex network performance faults.

Qualifications and Experience:

1. Diploma in Telecommunications, electronics, or a related field
2. Minimum 1 year of experience in technical telecom role.
3. Strong troubleshooting and fault-finding abilities
4. Excellent communication and customer service skills
5. Understanding of workplace safety and industry regulations.
6. Ability to work independently and as part of team
