Full Stack Developer

Our client, a well-established manufacturer of heavy-duty construction equipment, is seeking a skilled Full Stack Developer to enhance and maintain their e-commerce platform. This role is focused on building, optimizing, and supporting Magento 2 websites to provide a seamless online experience for dealers and customers. The ideal candidate combines strong technical expertise with collaboration and problem-solving skills, translating business needs into effective web solutions that support growth and brand objectives.

This is a full-stack role with a stronger emphasis on backend development. Key requirements include Magento 2, PHP, JavaScript, and MySQL.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain, and enhance Magento 2 e-commerce websites aligned with sales and product strategies.

  • Design and implement custom modules, extensions, and integrations with third-party systems (payment gateways, ERPs, APIs).

  • Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize Magento stores for performance, scalability, and security.

  • Integrate UI/UX components using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Knockout/React.

  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of development standards.

  • Manage Magento environments, version control (Git), and deployment processes across staging and production.

  • Maintain documentation and ensure compliance with IT and data-security protocols.

  • Stay current on Magento updates, patches, and emerging e-commerce technologies.

Qualifications

Required Skills & Experience:

  • 3 5 years of professional experience as a Magento Developer (Magento 2.x required)

  • Strong proficiency in PHP, MySQL, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and XML

  • Experience developing and customizing Magento 2 modules and extensions

  • Familiarity with REST/SOAP APIs and third-party integrations

  • Solid understanding of MVC architecture and OOP principles

  • Experience with Git version control and structured deployment workflows

  • Working knowledge of Linux server environments and Composer

Preferred Skills:

  • Magento 2 Certification (Developer or Professional)

  • Experience with Adobe Commerce (Enterprise Edition)

  • Knowledge of React, Vue.js, or PWA Studio

  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and Docker environments

  • Understanding of SEO, web performance optimization, and security best practices
