Senior Applications Developer - Contract - 18662 About the Opportunity This opportunity is with a Public Sector Client leading transformational digital modernization efforts. The selected Senior Developer(s) will enable digitization and analytical modernization within the OUTCAN Coordination and Support environment, supporting enhanced operations, data visibility, and mission-aligned platform modernization.
The Senior Developer will provide development, optimization, and stability enhancements for existing Power Platform applications while enabling improved business process automation across Defence 365 and cloud services. The role supports multi-environment lifecycle execution across Development, Test, Staging, and Production.
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports
- Manage and optimize Microsoft Access databases, including queries, forms, and reports
- Develop and maintain Dataverse tables, relationships, and architecture
- Perform data migration between databases and systems, ensuring data integrity and minimal disruption
- Execute data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) from various sources
- Ensure data consistency, accuracy, and security across platforms
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver actionable insights
- Automate data workflows and reporting processes to improve efficiency
- Document data processes, definitions, and reporting standards
- Support data governance and compliance initiatives
- Provide training and support to end-users on data tools and reporting systems
- Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues in a timely manner
About You The successful candidate will have the following:
- Minimum 2 years within last 4 years developing Power Platform solutions including Canvas apps, Model-Driven apps, and integrated flows with SharePoint, Outlook, Forms and Teams Approvals
- Minimum 2 years working with Power BI visualization and continuous monitoring tools
- Strong stakeholder and collaboration skills supporting analytical decision enablement
- Valid security clearance at a minimum level of Reliability
- Strong English communication skills
