Key Responsibilities
- Translate architectural design concepts into precise, code-compliant technical drawings, 2D/3D models, and comprehensive documentation (including floor plans, elevations, sections, and construction details) for residential, commercial, and community projects.
- Collaborate closely with architects, managers, engineers, and clients to translate design concepts into accurate, buildable drafts.
- Ensure all drawings adhere to building codes, local regulations, and industry standards for quality and compliance.
- Revise and refine documentation based on stakeholder feedback, design iterations, and on-site requirements.
- Assist in maintaining drawing libraries, version control, and project documentation archives for efficient workflow.
- Support material specification, quantity take-offs, and coordination with trades to align drafts with construction practicality.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Diploma or higher in Architectural Technology, Building Design, Architecture, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in architectural drafting (residential/commercial projects preferred).
- Proficiency in industry-standard CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit, ArchiCAD) and familiarity with BIM workflows.
- Exceptional attention to detail, with the ability to produce precise, error-free technical documentation.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively across cross-functional teams
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
