P&T Industries Pty Ltd is a leading Switchboard Manufacturing Company operating out of Perth, Western Australia, carrying out engineering, design and drafting, manufacture, testing and delivery of a complete range of products both within Australia and internationally.

We are currently looking for a skilled and experienced Electrical Engineering Design Draftsperson, Electrical Engineering Technician, Electrical Engineer & Procurement Manager to join our team. This is a permanent, full-time position.

Electrical Engineering Draftsperson

*Duties and Responsibilities

1. Planning, designing, programming power monitoring systems and equipment
2. Preparing drawings, plans and diagrams of electrical installations and circuitry
3. Uses software in created technical drawings and plans for electrical system
4. Design verification to AS61439
5. Conducting discrimination studies
6. Assisting Electrical Engineers and Engineering Technologists in design and layout of electrical installations and circuitry on substations, switchgear, cabling systems and motor control systems
7. Coordinating with the Engineer for the created design into a blueprint and to ensure that they meet the requirements.
8. Collecting data, performing tests and complex calculations, graphing results, and preparing charts and tabulations estimating materials costs and quantities
9. Inspecting designs and finished products for compliance with specifications and regulations
10. Assembling, installing, testing, calibrating, modifying, and repairing electrical equipment and installations to conform with regulations and safety requirements
11. Undertaking electrical workshop functions such as installing assemblies for protection relays, metering and indicating devices
12. Assisting with research and experimentation programs

1. Must have minimum of 3 years working experience in the industry

Salary Range: $76,515 to $85,000

Electrical Engineering Technician

*Duties & Responsibilities:

1. Read and understand and interpret wiring SLD's and Switchboard drawing layout.
2. Understand Australian Standards and apply knowledge on Switchboard manufacturing and assembly.
3. Assisting Electrical Engineers and Engineering Technologists in design and layout of electrical installations and circuitry on substations, switchgear, cabling systems and motor control systems.
4. Inspecting designs and finished products for compliance with specifications and regulations.
5. Manufacture and assembly of electrical switchboards, motor control centres, and sub-station kiosks.
6. Busbar bending, cutting and punching
7. Laying out electrical componentry (ACB's, MCCB's, chassis, RCD's, Meters) on switchboards
8. Wiring electrical equipment at our factory

*Must have requirements:

1. LV Switchboard manufacturing and assembly experience
2. Ability to use basic hand tools
3. 
   

*Ideal requirements:

1. Use of busbar machinery and equipment
2. Electrical license
3. Experience with control wiring and fault finding

Salary range: $76,515 to $85,000

Electrical Engineer

*Duties & Responsibilities

1. Planning, designing, programming power monitoring systems and equipment
2. Preparing drawings, plans and diagrams of electrical installations and circuitry

7. Assembling, installing, testing, calibrating, modifying, and repairing electrical equipment and installations to conform with regulations and safety requirements.
8. Undertaking electrical workshop functions such as installing assemblies for protection relays, metering and indicating devices
9. Assisting with researching and experimentation programs.

*Must have requirements:

1. "A" Grade electrical license is preferred
2. Knowledge on BMS and Power Management Software
3. Switchboard manufacturing experience and a sound knowledge of Australian standards
4. Experience with control wiring and fault finding
5. Good communication and interpersonal skills
6. High regard for safety and a healthy working environment

SALARY RANGE: $76,515 to $90,000

Procurement Manager

*Duties and Responsibilities

1. Planning and prioritising projects to be ordered based on urgency and lead time
2. Understanding parts and equipment lead time and ensuring correct pricing when issuing purchase orders to suppliers
3. Negotiating prices, delivery requirements and contracts with suppliers
4. Maintaining minimum stock levels to ensure continuity of production
5. Responsible for proposing alternatives to the engineering and manufacturing team when lead time of original items does not meet delivery requirements
6. Lead a team responsible for receiving, processing and expediting parts and equipment
7. Coordinate between drafting/manufacturing/accounts department for procurement planning, releasing of parts to workshop and managing supplier relationships
8. Monitoring and managing performance of staff
9. Ensuring proper use and inputting of transactions on MYOB Advanced
10. Liaising with transportation and logistics providers and using client portals to manage deliveries

Salary Range: $85,000 to $120,000
