The Opportunity

Due to business expansion, we are seeking an Interior Designer to join our growing team.

This excellent opportunity will be offered on a Permanent Full-Time basis at 38 hours a week.

The successful candidate must have:

· Diploma in relevant area (desirable)

· Minimum of three years of work experience

· Proven experience in interior design, preferably with exposure to residential, commercial, or heritage projects.

· Proficiency in design software

· Ability to balance multiple projects and deliver high-quality outcomes within deadlines.

· Strong creative vision combined with practical knowledge of construction and materials

· Excellent English skills

Responsibilities include:

-Produce comprehensive interior design drawings, 3D visualizations, and technical specifications using industry-standard software and tools, ensuring clarity and precision

-Select and recommend suitable materials, finishes, furnishings, and products that align with project specifications and Painting Experience’s high standards, emphasizing quality and durability

-Collaborate with architects and other professionals when required, ensuring cohesive integration of design elements.

-Estimate costs, prepare project budgets, and present proposals to clients for approval, ensuring financial feasibility and client satisfaction.

-Prepare detailed documentation and drawings to guide construction and fit-out works, facilitating seamless execution.

-Supervise and coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and tradespeople to ensure design integrity and quality outcomes, maintaining Painting Experience's reputation for excellence.

-Engage with clients and stakeholders to understand design objectives, requirements, and constraints, ensuring alignment with Painting Experience's commitment to excellence.

-Develop and present innovative design concepts, supported by sketches, diagrams, and detailed plans, that resonate with clients' visions and the company's standards.

-Provide expert advice to support clients in achieving both functional and aesthetic outcomes, enhancing the overall ambiance of the space.

-Where relevant, design bespoke joinery or furnishings to complement the overall scheme, adding unique value to the project.

-Carry out general administrative tasks in conjunction with the scope of works for each project, ensuring smooth project progression and client communication.
