About the Opportunity 

We are currently recruiting for a Business Analyst, PMO for our west-end software client. HQ'd in Kanata, this software company has several offices worldwide to serve their global client base. Reporting to the Senior Manager, PMO, this person will join a small but growing PMO group with the collective mission of process improvement and organizational efficiency. More specifically, this person will focus on process mapping and gap analysis, data analytics and reports, requirement analysis, and constant collaboration with stakeholders across the organization.

This is a permanent position with one of the region's top employers. Although this company is known for their socially-relevant product/technology and progressive culture/work-life balance, they also offer a comprehensive perks package in addition to salary. They employ a hybrid model involving two days per week in-office and thus only candidates local to Ottawa will be considered.

About You

The successful candidate will have the following:

• B.S. degree or higher in Business Administration, Commerce, Data Analytics, Information Technology, or similar
• 3+ years of business analysis experience with strong understanding of process mapping and gap analysis ideally within a software or high-tech environment
• Experience with data analytics/software tools such as Power BI, Visio, Excel, etc.
• Experience in areas such as ERP implementations/projects as well as AI workflow is a strong asset 
• Strong initiative, business acumen, and analysis/problem-solving skills. This person must be detail-oriented and an effective communicator
• The ability to attain and maintain Canadian top-secret security clearance
