TD Shopfitting is a reputable construction and shopfitting company specialising in commercial renovation and fit-out projects across retail, hospitality, and office spaces. We are seeking a skilled and creative Interior Designer to join our growing team and contribute to the design and delivery of high-quality commercial projects.

Key Responsibilities

•Develop interior design concepts, layouts, and detailed drawings for commercial shopfit and renovation projects.

•Prepare design presentations, material selections, and 3D visualisations for client approval.

•Collaborate closely with project managers, site supervisors, and construction teams to ensure designs are implemented accurately.

•Liaise with clients to understand design requirements, functional needs, and project budgets.

•Ensure all design work complies with building codes, safety standards, and project specifications.

•Review and adjust designs based on feedback from clients and internal teams.

•Assist in preparing documentation for council approvals, building permits, and certifications where required.

•Workshop drawing preparation and program code for CNC operation.

Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree or higher qualification in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.

•Minimum 3 years of relevant experience

•Strong proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar tools.

•Excellent English/Mandarin communication skills — both written and verbal.

•Solid understanding of construction processes, materials, and commercial fit-out standards.

•Ability to interpret technical drawings and coordinate with trades.

•Strong attention to detail, creativity, and ability to work within deadlines.

•Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a project team.
