About the role

PEACH INTERIORS PTY LTD is seeking an experienced full-time Interior Draftsperson(Architectural Draftsperson) to join our dynamic team in Melbourne. As an Interior Draftsperson, you will play a crucial role in transforming design concepts into detailed, constructible documentation. This full-time position offers the opportunity to be part of an innovative, collaborative, and growing design studio.

What you'll be doing

1. Translate design ideas and concepts into comprehensive, accurate, and detailed interior documentation, including construction drawings, specifications, and schedules
2. Render plans, elevations and 3Ds
3. Design Development of Presentation packs, Tender Sets and mood boards
4. Collaborate closely with designers, architects, project managers, and clients to ensure the successful execution of interior projects
5. Conduct site visits and site measurements to inform the documentation process
6. Coordinate with consultants and contractors to resolve design and construction-related issues
7. Maintain and update project documentation throughout the design and construction phases
8. Participate in design team meetings and contribute to the overall design process

What we're looking for

1. At least a relevant associate degree, Advanced Diploma or Diploma qualification plus one year of full time post qualification experience in the relevant position or, at least 3 years’ experience in the relevant position.
2. Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, Enscape, Adobe Suite and other relevant design software
3. Strong understanding of building codes, construction methods, and material specifications
4. Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work accurately under tight deadlines
5. Demonstrates strong communication, verbal and written
6. Teamwork skills, with the ability to work autonomously and collaboratively
7. Passion for design, creativity, and a desire to contribute to the growth of a dynamic design studio
