1. Swiftly identify and rectify malfunctions to ensure uninterrupted communication services.
2. Perform end-to-end testing for networks across all domains including Coaxial, copper, and FTTX (premise, node, and curb).
3. Develop and maintain logs of tests, locations, and stock inventories.
4. Maintain accurate documentation of communication policies, procedures, guidelines, and regulations.
5. Use SWMS (Safe Work Method Statement) and SWIs (Safe Work Instructions) for maintaining documentation.
6. Create detailed logs of inventories, parts, equipment, and instruments.
7. Provide technical advice and troubleshooting assistance.
8. Monitor the performance of complex telecommunications networks and equipment.
9. Provide ongoing operational support in designing, optimizing, troubleshooting and repairing telecommunications network performance.
10. Plan the development of customer access telecommunications network infrastructure.
11. Ensure infrastructure plans meet client requirements and regulatory standards.
12. Integrate network and telecommunications technology with computer software, peripherals, databases, and operating systems.
13. Liaise with vendors, suppliers, service providers, and external resources.
14. Monitor contractual obligations and performance delivery to meet specified standards.
15. Ensure regular compliance with audits to relevant regulatory bodies
16. Monitor the quality and safety of on-field teams.
17. Use and monitor all testing and safety devices and equipment.
18. Lead planning, design, commissioning, and monitoring of complex telecommunications networks and associated equipment.
19. Provide guidance and expertise throughout the project lifecycle to resolve complex problems. Additional skills & Certifications required- To be successful in this role you will need to meet following requirements -
20. Diploma/Advance Diploma in telecommunication or relevant qualification is required.
21. Highly developed verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to connect and interact with clients at all levels of proficiency.
22. Minimum 2 years’ experience in telecommunication or related fields.
23. Demonstrated ability to resolve hardware faults on network peripherals, telecommunication systems, and related devices.
24. Ability to provide Level 2 support for networks, firewalls, routing, switching, and security.
25. Ability to work unsupervised as well as in a team environment, sharing information and collaborating with colleagues.
26. Working at Heights (for installations involving poles, antennas, etc.)
27. License to Perform High Risk Work
28. Heavy Vehicle Driver License
29. Supervise Asbestos Removal
30. Excavator Operator License
31. Implement Traffic Management
32. Control Traffic with Stop-Slow Bat

Position-Full time

Salary-$76000 to $80000 per year (Plus Superannuation)
