AusGlobal Construction Pty Ltd is a rapidly growing residential and commercial construction company delivering high-quality building projects.
Due to expanding project commitments and increasing demand from clients, we are seeking a highly skilled Construction Project Manager to oversee project planning, coordination, and on-site delivery from inception to completion.
Key Responsibilities
• Plan, organise and direct construction projects, ensuring all works are delivered on time, within budget and in compliance with building codes and safety regulations.
• Interpret architectural drawings, engineering specifications and contract documents to determine project scope, resource requirements and construction methodologies.
• Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, site supervisors, tradespeople and suppliers to ensure efficient workflow and quality workmanship across all stages of construction.
• Develop and implement project schedules, procurement plans, construction programs and site management procedures.
• Negotiate contracts with subcontractors, suppliers and service providers, ensuring cost-effectiveness and alignment with project timelines.
• Monitor project progress through regular site inspections, addressing delays, variations, technical issues and safety hazards promptly.
• Prepare and maintain project budgets, cost forecasts, progress reports and compliance documentation for management and clients.
• Liaise with architects, engineers, and clients to ensure approvals, inspections and compliance requirements are met.
• Implement and enforce company quality assurance processes, WHS (Work Health & Safety) standards and environmental management procedures on all sites.
• Lead and mentor construction teams, conducting performance evaluations, providing guidance and supporting continuous operational improvement.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in construction project management within residential or commercial building sectors.
• Strong understanding of construction methodologies, building codes and Australian WHS regulations.
• Proven experience managing budgets, schedules, subcontractors and multi-trade project workflows.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to solve on-site technical challenges and manage several concurrent projects.
• Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Procore, Aconex or similar).
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage diverse site teams.
