Elements Glass, a locally owned & operated glass and aluminium specialist is in need of full-time Accounts Clerk to join our growing team in the NT immediately. This role is available for an immediate start and offers an excellent opportunity to become part of a well-established and expanding business.
Main Duties
- Provide accounting and clerical support to the management.
- Prepare and maintain accounting documents and records for accounts payable and receivable.
- Reconcile accounts in a timely manner.
- Prepare bank deposits, general ledger posting and statement.
- Daily enter key data of financial transactions in accounting software.
- Research, track and restore accounting or documentation problems and discrepancies.
- Inform management and compile reports/summaries on activity areas.
- Prepare all accounts data for profit and loss calculation File expenditures and reimbursement receipts.
- Other related tasks as assigned.
General Requirements
- Relevant AQF Certificate II or III in accounting, OR at least 1 year of relevant experience can substitute.
- At least 1-2 years of accounting or relevant experience.
- Excellent communication, English proficiency a must.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Good interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity with accounting software and Microsoft Office.
General Benefits
- Annual salary from $65,000 - $75,000 plus super with 38 working hours per week.
- Full-time permanent contract.
