Role Overview

The Developer Programmer will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining software applications and internal systems that support business operations. This role works closely with management and operational teams to translate business requirements into effective, reliable, and scalable technical solutions.

Duties and Responsibilities

1. Design, develop, test, and maintain software applications and internal systems
2. Write clean, efficient, secure, and well-documented code
3. Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve software and system issues
4. Maintain and enhance existing systems including inventory, sales, accounting, and web-based platforms
5. Liaise with management to understand business needs and convert them into technical solutions
6. Conduct system testing to ensure reliability, performance, and security
7. Assist with system upgrades, updates, integrations, and deployments
8. Prepare technical documentation and provide ongoing technical support as required

Key Requirements

1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
2. Proven experience working as a Developer Programmer or similar role
3. Ability to work independently, manage workload, and meet deadlines
4. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills
5. Good communication skills and ability to work with non-technical stakeholders
