DIGITAL MARKETING INTERN / APPRENTICE — SEO, ADS, AI & MORE (Nashville - Hillsboro Village / 12th South District)

Marketing A.D.D. is a Nashville-based growth systems and digital marketing agency looking for one or more interns/apprentices interested in learning the actual business of marketing.

This is an educational, hands-on opportunity for someone who wants experience beyond what you'll normally get in a classroom.

Depending on your interests and abilities, you'll have an opportunity to learn about areas including:

• SEO and local SEO
• Meta/Facebook Ads
• Google Ads
• AI-assisted marketing and research
• Market and competitor research
• Social media marketing
• Content marketing
• Email marketing
• Website optimization
• Marketing strategy
• Analytics and reporting
• Lead generation and sales funnels
• Press releases and PR
• Business systems and agency operations

You do not need experience in all of these areas.

In fact, we're much more interested in someone who is curious, dependable, organized, willing to learn, and capable of figuring things out.

Students studying marketing, advertising, communications, business, entrepreneurship, graphic design, web development, or related fields are encouraged to apply.

Applicable school/internship credit may be possible depending on your school's requirements.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

You should be:

• Reliable and punctual
• Comfortable researching things online
• Organized
• Able to communicate clearly
• Willing to ask questions
• Willing to try solving a problem before immediately asking someone else to solve it
• Interested in learning how marketing actually works in the real world

Experience with any of the following is helpful, but not required:

Google Sheets / Excel, Canva, Adobe, WordPress, ChatGPT or other AI tools, social media platforms, writing, graphic design, video editing, SEO, or digital advertising.

WHAT YOU'LL GET

This is not designed around having an intern do meaningless busywork.

You'll work directly with an experienced marketer and get exposure to how a real marketing agency researches markets, develops strategies, builds campaigns, works with clients, analyzes results, and solves marketing problems.

We'll teach.

We'll explain why we're doing things.

And when you learn something useful, we'll expect you to eventually be able to apply it yourself.

Strong interns may also be considered for future paid freelance, part-time, or employment opportunities as Marketing A.D.D. grows, although no future position is guaranteed.

TO APPLY

Please send:

1. Your resume.
2. Any relevant portfolio, website, LinkedIn profile, school projects, or examples of your work.
3. A short introduction telling us:
• Why this opportunity interests you.
• What you most want to learn.
• One example of something you had to figure out without already knowing how to do it.

IMPORTANT: Please include the words "WIDE SCAN" somewhere in your response so we know you actually read the entire posting.

No need to send a message simply asking, "Is this still available?"

If the ad is still posted, we're still accepting applications.

Location: Nashville, TN
Schedule: Part-time / flexible
Compensation: Unpaid educational internship; applicable academic credit may be available through your school.
