We pride ourselves on delivering flawless parts with tight tolerances. We are looking for a skilled, detail-oriented Deburr Operator to join our production team and ensure our finished products meet the highest aesthetic and functional standards.

Job Summary
As a Deburr Operator, you will be the final line of defense for quality before our parts move to inspection or finishing (like powder coating or plating). You will be responsible for removing burrs, sharp edges, and imperfections from laser-cut, punched, and formed sheet metal parts. This role requires patience, a steady hand, a keen eye for cosmetic defects, and the ability to work with various hand tools and machinery.

Key Responsibilities
Part Finishing: Deburr, grind, buff, and polish sheet metal parts (aluminum, stainless steel, steel, etc.) to specification drawings.

Tool Operation: Safely operate a variety of tools including pneumatic grinders, orbital sanders, belt sanders, Scotch-Brite wheels, drill presses, and manual deburring hand tools.

Quality Control: Inspect parts visually and tactily (by touch) to ensure they are free of burrs, scratches, and sharp edges, and meet cosmetic standards.

Blueprint Reading: Review work orders and blueprints to understand required finishes, grain directions, and edge breaks.

Material Handling: Safely move parts through the department, ensuring delicate cosmetic parts are handled with care to prevent scratching.

Maintenance: Perform basic daily maintenance on deburring equipment and maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace (5S).

Qualifications & Skills
Experience: 1–3 years of experience in a precision sheet metal fabrication environment (preferred, but we are willing to train the right individual with a strong mechanical aptitude).

Tool Proficiency: Familiarity with timesavers, graining machines, and various air/electric hand tools is a major plus.

Detail-Oriented: A strong commitment to quality and a sharp eye for minor surface imperfections.

Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long periods, perform repetitive hand/wrist motions, and lift up to 50 pounds regularly.

Team Player: Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

What We Offer
Competitive hourly pay with overtime opportunities.

Comprehensive benefits package (Medical, Dental).

401(k) match and paid time off (PTO).

Clean, well-lit, dust controlled shop environment.

Opportunities for cross-training and career advancement (e.g., Press Brake, Laser, or CNC Operation).

If you take pride in your craftsmanship and want to be a part of a growing, dedicated team, we want to hear from you!
