Shop hours are Mon-Thur 8am-4:30pm.
Fridays 8am - 3:30pm - paid for full 8 hours if deadlines met

Pay scale for this position is $17.00 - assumes no previous fiberglass experience

American Bicycle Security Co. is hiring for a Full-time fiberglass finisher. This person will learn multiple areas of the shop but the main duties will be performing final cosmetic touches on fiberglass bike lockers and fiberglass transit & custom job parts. This job is also responsible for doing repairs to molded parts that may have defects from the molding process. Job requires a lot standing, kneeling, bending over, lifting pulling and pushing.

This role includes daily cleaning duties, same as all positions in the shop. There is room for advancement by learning new positions in the shop, Those opportunities will be made advisable as supervisory staff sees fit.

No experience required, will train a willing applicant but experience repairing fiberglass parts will make you a top candidate.

The person who takes this job will be helping make a wide range of fiberglass products such as bike lockers, boats, train & bus parts. Job includes standing, bending over, lifting and pushing molds that weigh up to 50lbs. Must be motivated, follow directions well and have basic hand tool experience.
