ARMED SECURITY OFFICER — $20/HR — WEEKENDS

Regional Security & Investigations LLC is hiring experienced Armed Security Officers for part-time weekend assignments in Kansas City, KS and Overland Park, KS.

We are seeking dependable security professionals who understand their responsibilities, exercise good judgment, and take pride in representing the private security profession.

POSITION DETAILS

Pay: $20.00 per hour
Employment: Part-Time
Schedule: Friday & Saturday
Hours: 4:30 PM – 12:30 AM
Locations: Kansas City, KS & Overland Park, KS

RESPONSIBILITIES

Our Security Officers are expected to maintain a professional and visible security presence while protecting our clients, their property, employees, customers, and guests.

Responsibilities may include monitoring assigned areas, conducting security checks, observing and reporting suspicious activity, enforcing client rules and policies, documenting incidents, assisting employees and guests, de-escalating situations when appropriate, and contacting law enforcement or emergency services when necessary.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum 1–2 years of armed security experience
• Professional appearance and demeanor
• Dependable and punctual
• Strong observation and communication skills
• Good judgment and ability to remain calm under pressure
• Ability to interact professionally with the public
• Reliable transportation
• Must be able to pass a criminal background check
• Must meet all applicable requirements to perform armed private security work

Regional Security & Investigations LLC is a private security company. We are not a law enforcement agency.

Our employees are Security Officers — not police officers, private enforcement officers, or individuals attempting to portray themselves as law enforcement.

We expect every officer to understand and respect the distinction between private security and law enforcement.

Our role is to observe, deter, protect, assist, document, and report. When a situation requires police authority or intervention, we contact the appropriate law enforcement agency.

Carrying a firearm does not change that responsibility.

We are looking for mature security professionals who exercise restraint, good judgment, professionalism, and respect for the limits of their authority.
