I’m looking for a sharp, organized, dependable person to help me stay on top of a mix of business and personal responsibilities.
This is not a traditional receptionist or data-entry position. I need someone who can take ownership of tasks, figure things out, follow up with people, keep projects moving, and help reduce the number of loose ends I’m personally managing.
The work will include things such as:
• Managing and organizing email
• Scheduling appointments and meetings
• Following up with vendors, employees, contractors, and other contacts
• Making phone calls and gathering information
• Tracking projects and outstanding items
• Organizing documents, receipts, expenses, and basic records
• Helping coordinate business and ranch-related projects
• Assisting with occasional personal or family administrative tasks
• Researching products, services, travel, appointments, or other needs
• Helping create better systems so tasks do not fall through the cracks
Most of the work can be done remotely, but I would like someone local to the Fresno/Madera area who can occasionally meet in person or handle something locally when needed.
The ideal person is:
• Extremely organized
• Comfortable with technology
• A strong communicator
• Good at writing emails and talking to people on the phone
• Able to work independently without needing detailed instructions for every task
• Comfortable handling confidential business and personal information
• Persistent enough to follow up when someone does not respond
• Able to juggle multiple unrelated projects at once
• Practical and good at solving problems
Experience as an executive assistant, administrative assistant, office manager, project coordinator, or similar position is helpful, but I care more about judgment, reliability, organization, and initiative than a specific job title.
Schedule is flexible. I expect approximately 15–20 hours per week to start, with the possibility of additional hours if it is a good fit.
Pay is $25–$30 per hour depending on experience.
To apply, please send:
1. Your resume
2. A short introduction about yourself
3. Three or four sentences explaining why this particular position sounds like a good fit for you
4. Your general weekly availability
Please do not send a generic application. I’m looking for someone who actually reads the posting and is interested in this specific type of role.
