Title: Analyst, Population Health - Smarthealth Care Manager Support

Hours: Full-Time, 40 hours/week

What You Will Do

As an associate with Ascension Michigan, you will have the opportunity to conduct quality data analysis and clinical decision support for designated system(s). The Analyst, Population Health will be part of the Population Health Department within Ascension Medical Group. Within this role, the associate will be supporting the care management team working with SmartHealth beneficiaries through project management, dashboard development, and data visualization. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with an interest in value based care and population health.

Responsibilities:

Supports measurement and system improvement. Develops quality, utilization, and productivity metrics and analytics.

Collaborates on metric development, reporting design and delivery of routine and ad hoc reports.

Develops approaches to presenting information including presentations and communications.

Serves as project manager for improvement initiatives and tactical decisions/plans.

Researches national best practices and makes recommendations for change as appropriate.

What You Will Need

Licenses/Certifications/Registration:

  • Preferred Credential(s):
  • Reg Health Info Tech credentialed from the American Health Information Management Association (AHIMA).

Education:

  • High school diploma/GED with 2 years of experience, or Associate’s degree, or Bachelor’s degree required
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred

Work Experience:

  • Proficiency with Google Sheets or Excel preferred
